We are loving life over here on the West Coast. The weather is absolutely beautiful, days are getting longer, and my mum-in-law flies in today to visit for the next 10 days!!

Today is actually her birthday — so we’ve got some fun stuff planned for her today and over the weekend! We’ll be visiting a couple of our fave wineries, and doing some hiking/enjoying the glorious sunshine!

I’ve got a few random faves for ya this week – Lets get started.

#1. Frozen Coconut icecream

Mmmmm talk about guilty pleasure!!! This dairy free icecream is FAB. I am a fan of anything coconut, so I love the ‘naked coconut’ flavour… but I have tried most of them and they do not disappoint!! Also, super bonus… it’s a local company from a gent right here in Vancouver, BC. They are growing like crazy and can be found in tons of the local grocery stores now.

Check out there ‘where to buy’ section to see if there’s anywhere close to you where you can pick it up! Highly recommended, highly addictive!

#2. Ecotan Face Water

I first saw this stuff on The Organic Bunny‘s instagram. Well actually, she posted their standard Invisible Tan, but then I went to the EcoTan website and checked out the other products.

I was intrigued when she posted it because all the stuff she talks about are organic, mostly vegan (I think!?), and cruelty free! So I looked into it further, and found out the ‘Face water’ product is just for the face (obvs), and it actually has anti-aging and anti-acne properties! BONUS!

I’ve only used it a couple times so far, so I haven’t gotten to posting a before and after… but so far I really like it!!!

#3. Blue Jays BASEBALL

AHHHH!!! I am so happy it’s backkkk!!!!

Many of you may not know that I am a pretty avid Jays fan. I like watching all sports live… but don’t care for watching many on TV. Most people (Including Greg) find it weird that I will watch baseball religiously on TV, but not something more ‘exciting’ like hockey or basketball. I like that I can watch it in the background while blogging or doing other things!

Baseball also reminds me of my late grandma. She lived with us for awhile after my grandpa passed away, and watched the Jays EVERY night. If I wanted to play cards with her, I would have to watch baseball. So I learned all about it, learned all the players, and developed a love for the game, but mainly the Jays ๐Ÿ™‚

Now, when I watch, it reminds me of sitting watching the boys and playing cards with gram.
After a year like last year (we were SO CLOSE!!!!) it’s really inspiring to watch. And with  guys like Marcus Stroman…

…it’s always exciting and entertaining. #gojaysgo

Anyway… I hope you guys have a wonderful weekend – if you’re in BC or somewhere where spring has sprung… get outside and enjoy that weather!!!
