Hey y’all!
Friday again!!!
I realize that I missed a couple Fridays while I was at home – apologies on that, however I do have a really good excuse!!! The first Friday was Christmas… Greg and I didn’t fly in to Toronto until Christmas eve… so we spent the whole day Christmas eve wrapping all of our presents and it was Christmas day before we could even blink (or sleep! haha). THEN, the next Friday was New Years day… and I am sad to say that much of mine and Greg’s families were hit with the flu a couple days before New Years. So, there wasn’t really much of anything going on other than drinking ginger ale, eating soup, and watching about 40 movies. BUT!!! I’m back… and I’m ready to share! 🙂
The first thing I am LOVING right now is a special item that my pa made for me (and one for my sis) for Christmas! I had seen something similar on Pinterest (obvi) and thought that I would like one of my own. Of course, Dad can make it… Dad can make anything!!!
I always had a little bit of organized chaos happening on my dresser. I tried my best to keep things neat and tidy, but I never really had a system for my jewelry. This is perfect! AND … it looks nice! 🙂 I wish I took a pic of what the dresser looked like before (newbie blogger fail), but trust me.. it wasn’t pretty! So this is a HUGE FAVE for me this week!!!
Let me know if you want one of your own… Dad’s taking orders! 😉 – Just kidding – I just want to see if he actually ever reads his daughters blog! ha
For anyone that has seen any of the facebook/insta or blog posts before, you’ll know that I am a HUGE fan of Toms shoes, and the company itself. I think last I checked… Greg and I between us house over 20 pairs of Toms. But my justification is ‘well we’re helping people!!!’. If you’re unfamiliar with Toms, please check them out! They have some amazing styles, and their business model is ‘one for one’. So for every pair of shoes purchased, a child in need gets a pair of shoes. Pretty sweet, right? It’s like you’re buying 2 pairs! And now they even sell sunglasses, bags and even COFFEE! All purchases have their own ‘one for one’ model!
This year at Christmas, I was blessed with not 1, but 2 pairs of Toms!!! It’s pretty standard that I ask/hope for a pair of Toms for my birthday/Christmas… It’s a gift I will ALWAYS love and appreciate.
I got this AMAZING pair of booties from my mum-in-law… I had my eye on these little beauties for a while and they’re amazing. SO comfy, they go with everything and… don’t forget… helping people!! haha

The second pair I got was a total surprise from my mum!! She got Greg and I both slippers. HOW CUTE ARE THESE? And they’re just the right amount of warmness! His & hers! 🙂
The last thing I want to tell you guys about is something that I am obsessed with from SAJE!
I know I posted not that long ago about one of my other faves from there (see post), but I just love all their stuff, so this post is necessary as well ! haha
Meet – the car freshener
This little beauty is awesome. It plugs right in to any charge port in the car.. you put a few drops of your favourite essential oil on the little pad and plug er in! It leaves the scent of the oil in your car while giving YOU the added benefits of aromatherapy! YES PLEASE 🙂 I’m currently rocking the Rain Forest oil in the car!
